I met him at a Minor League game at Dunedin Stadium at Grant Field in Dunedin, Florida in 1993, when the Clearwater Phillies came to play the Dunedin Blue Jays.
After spending the last couple of springs collecting autographs, I decided to start attending local Minor League baseball games. At the time I lived real close to the Dunedin Blue Jays and Clearwater Phillies of the Advanced-A Florida State League.
Jason signed a 1993 Fleer Pro Cards card #2686. To be honest, this wasn't the first card that Jason signed for me. Originally it was a 1992 Front Row Draft Picks card but the autograph looked so poor because of the heavy gloss on the card. It was a few months later when the above card was released that I had Jason sign it for me.
