I met him at a Minor League game at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium in Clearwater, Florida in 1993, when the Sarasota White Sox, whom he was managing, came to play the Clearwater Phillies.

Dave signed a 1991 Line Drive AA Pre-Rookie card #199.
