I met him at a Minor League game at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium in Clearwater, Florida in 1994, when the Fort Myers Miracle came to play the Clearwater Phillies.

Gus signed a 1994 Fleer Excel card #94, which incorrectly spells his last name.
