I first met Stuart in 2016 on my very first day collecting soccer autographs. I didn't have anything for him to sign but he was very friendly to me and told me the best place to wait for the players.
For the next 2 years, I would see him several times a month and he would always ask how my autograph collection was coming along. Finally, in 2018, a month into his fourth season of managing the Tampa Bay Rowdies, a sticker of his popped up on eBay from a seller in the United Kingdom and I immediately ordered it.
I greeted Stuart before a Tampa Bay Rowdies game at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2018.
Stuart signed a 1998 Merlin's Premier League sticker #297.
