A month earlier, I was at a game where Buddy threw a no-hitter against the Clearwater Threshers. I didn't have a card of his that day but I made sure to order one that night. I saved my ticket from that game, hoping that I could get that signed as well.

After the Stone Crabs vs. Blue Jays game, which Buddy had started and won, I asked him for his autograph. I hand him the card and he signs it. I tell him that I never ask for more than one autograph from anyone but I was going to make an exception with him. He offers to sign anything that I have. That's when I pull out the ticket and ask him if he knows the significance of it. A big smile comes across his face and he says, "that's my no-no." I told him that I was at that game and he seemed very happy to hear that.
