Harold Arauz

I met him at Paul Owens Training Facility at Carpenter Complex, the Philadelphia Phillies spring training facility in Clearwater, Florida in 2017.

Four months after getting this card signed, I witnessed Harold pitch a no-hitter for the Clearwater Threshers in the second game of a double header against the Fort Myers Miracle. Immediately following the game, I asked Harold to sign my ticket stub.

Harold signed a 2016 Lakewood Blueclaws Team Set card #02 and a ticket stub from his no-hitter that he thew on July 30, 2017.

Buddy Borden

I met him at a Minor League game at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in Dunedin, Florida in 2015, when the Charlotte Stone Crabs came to play the Dunedin Blue Jays.

A month earlier, I was at a game where Buddy threw a no-hitter against the Clearwater Threshers. I didn't have a card of his that day, but I made sure to order one that night. I saved my ticket from that game, hoping that I could get that signed as well.

After the Stone Crabs vs. Blue Jays game, which Buddy had started and won, I asked him for his autograph. I hand him the card and he signs it. I tell him that I never ask for more than one autograph from anyone but I was going to make an exception with him. He offers to sign anything that I have. That's when I pull out the ticket and ask him if he knows the significance of it. A big smile comes across his face and he says, "that's my no-no." I told him that I was at that game and he seemed very happy to hear that.

Buddy signed a 2015 Bowman Chrome Prospects card #BCP63 and a ticket stub from his no-hitter that he threw on May 13, 2015.
