Gene Roof

I met him at a Minor League game at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, Florida in 2017, when the Lakeland Flying Tigers came to play the Clearwater Threshers.
He was there as the Detroit Tigers Minor League outfield and baserunning coordinator.

I met his brother, Phil a year earlier.

Gene signed a 1982 Donruss card #615, which incorrectly lists his first name as Phil.
