I met him at a Minor League game at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida in 2019, when the Jupiter Hammerheads came to play the Tampa Tarpons.
Unbeknownst to me, Chris had been traded from the Miami Marlins to the Minnesota Twins during the game. I'm not even sure if he knew he had been traded. He was still in the dugout after the game in his Hammerheads uniform when I approached him for an autograph, and I didn't notice any players saying their goodbyes.
Chris signed a 2018 Batavia Muckdogs Team Set card #32.
