I met him at the second annual Rowdies Suncoast Invitational at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2017.
The stadium was hosting a triple header involving 6 teams. The first match was at 3pm between Toronto FC and the Chicago Fire in a pre-season game. It was a hot February afternoon, so I decided to seek shade in the very top row of the stadium. A few minutes after I sat down in an empty row, I recognize Evan Bush coming up the stairs and he sits in the same row as me. His team, Montreal Impact, were playing in the final match of the night. When the first half ended, Evan got up to leave. I asked him for his autograph as he approached me.
Evan signed a 2016 Topps APEX Major League Soccer card #55.
