George Tsamis

My dad's birthday is June 14th. He passed away on August 31, 2020. For his first birthday without him,  I came up with another TTM challenge for myself. This one I called "Dad TTM Project." On June 8, 2021, six days before his birthday, I sent birthday cards to eleven baseball players who also shared his birthday.

I discovered that George Tsamis was the manager of the Kane County Cougars, so I mailed the birthday card to the home stadium.

Eleven days later, my card came back signed.

George signed a 1994 Pacific Crown Collection card #369.

Blas Minor

In March of 2021, I was looking for cards to mail out and I saw on the back of Blas Minor's card that his birthday was less than a week away (March 20th), so I decided to look him up and I found his address and sent him my card and the following letter.

24 days later my card came back signed.

Blas signed a 1994 Pacific Crown Collection card #503.

Darren Holmes

I met him at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida in 2019, when the Colorado Rockies, whom he was the bullpen coach for, came to play the Tampa Bay Rays.

Darren signed a 1994 Pacific Crown Collection card #198.

Doug Brocail

I met him at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, Florida in 2019, when the Baltimore Orioles, whom he was the pitching coach for, came to play the Philadelphia Phillies in a spring training game.

Chad Kreuter

I met him at a Minor League game at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium in Dunedin, Florida in 2017, when the St. Lucie Mets, whom he was managing, came to play the Dunedin Blue Jays.

Willie Blair

I met him at a Minor League spring training game at Paul Owens Training Facility at Carpenter Complex in Clearwater, Florida in 2017, when the Detroit Tigers, whom he was a pitching coach for, came to play the Philadelphia Phillies.

Willie signed a 1994 Pacific Crown Collection card #189.
