Tom Houk

My dad's birthday is June 14th. He passed away on August 31, 2020. For his first birthday without him,  I came up with another TTM challenge for myself. This one I called "Dad TTM Project." On June 8, 2021, six days before his birthday, I sent birthday cards to eleven baseball players who also shared his birthday.

Here is the card that I sent to Tom Houk.

Seventeen days later my card came back signed.

Steve Liddle

I met him at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, Florida in 2019, when the Detroit Tigers, whom he was the bench coach for, came to play the Philadelphia Phillies in a spring training game.

Steve signed a 1989 ProCards card #1084.

Brent Brede

I met him at a Minor League game at Dunedin Stadium at Grant Field in Dunedin, Florida in 1994, when the Fort Myers Miracle came to play the Dunedin Blue Jays.

Brent signed a 1992 Classic Best card #147.
