Bobby Shantz

I never actually met Mr. Shantz. However, I had seen numerous collectors with his autograph that they had acquired through the mail. That never appealed to me, because I like meeting people in person that sign for me.

I had owned this card for over 20 years and knew that I would most likely never have the opportunity to have it signed in person. So, a week before Mr. Shantz's 91st birthday (September 26, 2016), I sent him my card and a short note.
