Shawn Stutz

In March of 2021, I decided to seek out an address for Shawn Stutz. I discovered that he was the President of a professional employer organization in Florida, so I wrote him a letter and sent my card.

Twenty days later my card came back signed.

James Kerr

In December of 2020, I decided to seek out an address for James Kerr. I found an address and sent him my card and a letter.

Unfortunately, it turned out that the address was incorrect. Eleven days later I got a "return to sender" notice.

Nearly a month later, I found another address but in a different state. Since my original letter was wishing him and his family a Merry Christmas, I decided to toss out that letter and write him a new one.

61 days later my card came back signed and he included a note apologizing for the delay.

Jared Verrall

Mickey Callaway

I actually never met him. I was at a Minor League game at Jack Russell Memorial Stadium in Clearwater, Florida in 1997, when the St. Petersburg Devil Rays came to play the Clearwater Phillies.
I was collecting autographs after the game had ended, as Devil Rays players were exiting the clubhouse and getting onto the bus. I can't remember who but one of the players asked if I had gotten everyone. I told him I was waiting for Callaway. He then informed me that Callaway was already on the bus. I guess while I was getting players to stop and sign for me, he must've walked by without me noticing. The player then offered to take the card onto the bus for me and have Mickey sign it.
