I met him at the Tampa Bay Rays Fan Fest at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida on February 8, 2020.

Ron signed the VHS tape cover of his former radio show's video compilation, released in 1994, Ron & Ron: Let the Puppies Breathe!

I would see Ron Diaz at the Fan Fest year after year doing interviews with players on sports radio but I never approached him for an autograph because I didn't want an incomplete tape signed. However, his former co-host, Ron Bennington was scheduled to return to Tampa 2 months after this event, on a comedy tour. I already had my ticket for that, so I decided to get this signed and hope to get it signed again in 2 months. Unfortunately, the coronavirus aka COVID-19 forced the postponement of that scheduled show indefinitely.

Hooters on the Radio (Julie Williams, Lynne Austin, B.L., & Fez Whatley)

I met them at a Hooters on the Radio live gig at a Hooters restaurant in Tampa, Florida.

I was a huge fan of this show. It followed my favorite show, The Ron & Ron Show, at 10am. So many great memories of this show. I wish there was an archive where I could listen to old shows.
