He seemed genuinely happy when I approached him for an autograph. I congratulated him on his induction and then handed him my card. He was surprised to see which card it was, then he told me where the particular picture was taken. He then went on to mention members of that team, including manager Bill Evers and a player who would later become a manager, Jared Sandberg.
I thanked him for his time and he thanked me for asking.
