I wasn't aware that "Too Tall" was going to be at this event but just around the corner, within walking distance, was a CVS store with a photo lab. I was able to go there and print out a picture of him and have him sign it for me.

I met him at his Thanksmas charity event on December 11, 2015 at Ava, the restaurant that he co-owns in Tampa, Florida.

As I was waiting to ask him for an autograph, he was having a conversation with the former Governor of Florida, Charlie Crist. Mr. Crist saw me waiting and extended his hand to introduce himself. He asked me if I had met Joe yet, and I told him that I was hoping to. He then introduces me to Joe, as if we're all good friends. It was a cool experience.
Later that night I got a picture with Mr. Crist.

He seemed genuinely happy when I approached him for an autograph. I congratulated him on his induction and then handed him my card. He was surprised to see which card it was, then he told me where the particular picture was taken. He then went on to mention members of that team, including manager Bill Evers and a player who would later become a manager, Jared Sandberg.
I thanked him for his time and he thanked me for asking.
